Recovery Near You staff and volunteers had a great day out on Saturday 2nd April 2016 at the Wolverhampton Wanderers v Ipswich Town football match engaging with fans and their families outside of the Jack Harris stands.
Wolverhampton 360, Recovery Near You’s young people’s service, was onsite for the opening of Wolverhampton’s new Youth Zone, ‘The Way’ in January.
Last week, Recovery Near You staff spoke to shoppers at Asda and Waitrose in Wolverhampton about issues around drugs and alcohol.
A free drop-in session for young people aged 13-19 years within the community. Wolverhampton 360 will be on site at ‘The Way’ every Wednesday evening from 5pm-7pm during the Senior Club.
A free drop-in session for young people aged 8-12 years within the community. Wolverhampton 360 will be on site at ‘The Way’ every Thursday evening from 5pm-7pm during the Junior Club.
A free football session for those within the community living with mental health issues. RNY will be on site every Monday from 2pm-4pm during the sessions delivering support as and when identified and getting involved with the game.
A chance for students to chat and meet the team. These events will take place throughout the rest of the academic year once a month for students.
