We work closely with schools to provide substance misuse information. We raise awareness of how our service can help young people and we support teaching staff to refer young people and support them to seek help as necessary.
We ensure that we encourage young people to attend, and we deliver interventions that are tailored to the needs of the young person.
We attend Common Assessment Framework (CAF) meetings and informal meetings at schools in order to offer advice and support on how to approach the issue of substance use, and to encourage young people to get involved with the service.
We will deliver talks and drug awareness sessions to address the needs of young people and to encourage young people to seek support. We work with those using and those affected by substance use to address their needs, in order to help improve the behaviour and attitudes of young people and enable them to achieve the best that they can in their lives.
