Wolverhampton LGBT+

Wolverhampton LGBT+ is a registered charity consisting of a network of organisations, businesses and community groups, which have come together to support and improve local services to the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and those questioning (LGBT+) community in Wolverhampton and the Black Country.

The Reset Health Group

RESET integrates psychotherapy with somatic sessions – yoga, strength training, breathwork, cold exposure, and outdoor activities – to understand and release emotions. Say goodbye to feeling worthless; embrace a life full of freedom and purpose.

RESET implemented a Psychologically and Trauma-Informed Environment (PIE/TIE) to transform the service delivery at RNY by prioritising the emotional and psychological needs of individuals within the workplace. This approach leveraged existing skills and knowledge at RNY, working collaboratively with RESET to encourage a reflective approach to work. This greater level of self-awareness and reduction of reactivity has empowered the team to deal with challenging situations more effectively.

Additionally, RESET introduced reflective practice which has further reinforced these improvements. By encouraging individuals to consider their experiences and gain insights about their practice, RNY have supported continuous improvement in work quality and service delivery. This approach has promoted a comprehensive integrative therapeutic strategy to mental health difficulties, resulting in a cultural change towards a mentally healthy organisation and community. As a result, the service has created a more resilient and effective working environment allowing us to deliver a remarkable service for the people we support.
