As our attention turns to the coming year, here at Recovery Near You we are looking to make healthy changes for 2018.
As part of this we would like to raise awareness of Dry January. I expect that quite a few of us have had too much cheer over Christmas and the New Year and have then felt the after effects: sore head, upset stomach and general apathy. How many of us have thought how much is too much?
Firstly, remember that there are no safe limits for drinking alcohol but PHE recommend that we consume no more than 14 units spread over 7 days with a couple of days off.
