Last week, Recovery Near You welcomed people from across the recovery community, alongside our valued partner agencies, for our annual Summer BBQ.
The event brought together service users, staff, volunteers, family members and partner organisations for an afternoon filled with food, fun, connection and support. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed a range of activities and games, creating opportunities to socialise, build confidence and strengthen community ties.
Representatives from local services were also on hand to provide information, advice and support, helping people learn more about the resources available across Wolverhampton and the wider area.
Recovery flourishes when people come together, and the Summer BBQ was a wonderful reminder of the strength, hope and friendship that exists within our community.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. A special thank you goes to Stewart and his Dad, who spent weeks building the BBQ for everyone to enjoy. We are also grateful to our partner organisations for their support and involvement in making the event such a memorable day.
