Getting support for drug or alcohol use can feel like a big step. At Recovery Near You, we aim to make the process as straightforward and personalised as possible. [Find out more about our drug and alcohol support services.]
In this video, Chaise explains what happens from your initial referral through to your first appointment and ongoing support.
We’ll start by talking to you about your needs, arrange an assessment at a time that works for you, and learn more about what you want to achieve from your recovery journey.
Following your assessment, we’ll match you with a key worker who is best suited to your needs. Our team includes recovery workers, support workers and specialist practitioners, including workers supporting women, people involved with the criminal justice system and people with lived experience of recovery.
Your key worker will then arrange your first session and work with you on the support that’s right for you, including practical and psychosocial support around things like managing urges and making positive changes.
